In 1963, tractor magnate Ferruccio Lamborghini set up shop in Sant'Agata Bolognese with a simple provocation: he would build a better grand tourer than Ferrari. The Miura soon rewrote the rulebook as the first mid-engined V12 supercar, and the Raging Bull has refused to whisper ever since. Every Lamborghini announces itself with fighter-jet styling, engines that howl to the redline and drama you can feel from the pavement. Whether it's the Huracán's screaming V10 or the Urus's effortless punch, driving one is pure Italian theatre backed by serious all-wheel-drive engineering.

Which Lamborghinis are in the LSM fleet?
At the heart of the range sits the Huracán, its naturally aspirated 5.2-litre V10 producing 610 hp, offered in several versions — from the Evo and the Spyder to the Tecnica, STO and Sterrato — because each Huracán tells a different Sardinian story: the coupé for the corners, the open car for the coast, the Sterrato for those who want to keep going where the asphalt runs out.
Above it sit the flagships: the Aventador, heir to the pure naturally aspirated V12 dynasty, and the Revuelto, a 1,015 hp hybrid that dispatches 0–100 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The Temerario, with its 920 hp electrified twin-turbo V8, is the new gateway to Lamborghini at its most extreme.
And then there is the Urus, a 650 hp super SUV with five seats: the Lamborghini that swallows luggage, family and beach kit without surrendering a gram of theatre. Small wonder it ranks among the most requested luxury SUVs for hire in Sardinia.
Why is Sardinia where a Lamborghini shines brightest?
A Lamborghini never goes unnoticed, and a Sardinian summer is where that becomes a virtue. Pulling up at a beach club in Baja Sardinia, climbing the road to a villa in Pantogia, gliding past the old harbour in the evening: the Raging Bull turns every journey into an entrance. It is no coincidence that Lamborghini rental on the Costa Smeralda, delivered to your hotel or directly to your yacht, is our most photographed service.
But to stop at the looks would be to sell it short. All-wheel drive across the entire range brings genuine security on the uneven surfaces of the interior, and the Huracán's V10 through the esses of Gallura or along the SS125 towards Cala Gonone delivers one of the most stirring soundtracks you can still drive. Open roads, light traffic outside peak season, scenery that reinvents itself every twenty minutes: it is hard to imagine a better playground.
Huracán, Urus or Revuelto: which one should you choose?
For a couple on holiday, the Huracán Spyder is the instinctive answer: a V10 behind your shoulders, open sky above, and dimensions you can still manage through the coastal towns. If you prefer a coupé and undiluted driving, look to the Tecnica or the STO.
Travelling with family or friends, the Urus is the only five-seat Lamborghini: it splits its day between beach, restaurant and mountain pass without asking for a single compromise. For an event, a milestone birthday or footage meant to last, the Revuelto and the Aventador are the absolute summit of the repertoire.
